The grounding plug is a simply 3 prong plug that connects the ground plug to an alligator clip at the end of a 6 foot cord. Only the ground plug is active, the two flat pins are not active and are not connected to the cord or alligator clip. The grounding plug does not conduct electricity; it only connects to the ground source of any 3 prong outlet.
This grounding plug was primarily designed as a tool that can be used to ground Shieldite but can be used to create other various grounding pads by connecting any conductive material to the alligator clip at the end of the cord.
The following instructions are how to use the grounding plug to ground your Shieldite
- Plug the grounding plug into any outlet in your house.
- Attached a piece of aluminum foil to the clip.
- Place the shieldite on the aluminum foil to ground it.
If you keep shieldite on the aluminum foil it will stay constantly grounded.
This grounding plug is only designed to fit in 3 prong outlets in North America. It can be used internationally if using a plug adapter.
